AUTHOR’S GUIDE

Submission & Peer Review Process

Submission of a paper to The Altiora implies that the manuscript has not been published or is under consideration in any other journal. Manuscripts should be submitted either by email or via our Online Article Submission Form on the ‘Submit Paper’ page.

Submission Process

Authors are required to submit their papers online. No hard copy submissions will be accepted. An automatic acknowledgment will be sent upon receipt. After the initial assessment of the paper’s suitability for The Altiora, the editor will electronically forward it to a minimum of two referees for review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process. The referees will recommend whether to publish, reject, or publish with suggested changes. Once accepted, papers will be assigned to an issue and published online.

Paper Formatting Guidelines

Papers should be between 2,000-3,500 words in length (excluding footnotes and references). Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

English Papers: Must use Times New Roman font, size 12pt, and 1.5 line spacing.
Hindi Papers: Must use Kruti Dev 10 font, size 17pt, and 1.5 line spacing.
The text should be left-aligned and justified only on the left margin.
Do not use all capital letters for the title, headings, or subheadings.
Provide an abstract of up to 200 words and a list of up to six keywords.
Footnotes should be avoided, but when necessary, footnotes should be in 10pt font and single-spaced. Follow APA referencing style for citations and references.

Manuscript Format (IMRaD Format)

Authors submitting to The Altiora should strictly follow the structure below. The Title must include authors’ names, affiliations, and contact details of the corresponding author (*) centered beneath it.

Important Notes for Authors

Research papers must be submitted in MS Word format only. No compressed files (.zip, .rar) should be submitted.
Authors are responsible for the content of their manuscripts. The editorial board is not responsible for the views expressed by the authors.
The editor has the right to make editorial revisions, limit the number of pages, tables, and figures. The final decision on publication is at the discretion of the editor.
Declaration Form: Authors must complete and sign a Declaration Form to confirm that their papers can be published in The Altiora. Please submit the form with your final manuscript.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

To promote original, ethical, and high-quality research, The Altiora follows a transparent and minimal Article Processing Charge (APC) policy. No submission fee is charged at any stage of the publication process. The APC is applicable per article irrespective of its length and is payable only after the final acceptance of the manuscript.

The APC covers editorial handling, coordination of the peer-review process, plagiarism screening, copy-editing, formatting, online publication, and long-term archiving of the article. There are no hidden charges or fast-track publication pressures, and payment of the APC does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.
